printed the May issue yesterday, and folded, and stapled...it is all ready for distribution...woohoo...making the rounds this morning...i will post later where it is available...

another issue is nearly out the door...i think that production will be done tonight, so i will be printing tomorrow and distributing friday...too soon to say smooth as silk for the May issue, but certainly seemingly so...

This issue sees the continuation of the health column by Dr. Gardiner, moon scopes by Lilly Roddy, more things we like, as well as what we are listening to...the calendar is there and poetry has been provided by guest contributor Lynne Hill...

New this month is a comic feature illustrated by Jenny Conte..we might be growing!!!

The May issue is actually rolling along rather smoothly and we have picked up another advertiser...I have most of the content ready to send over to the art director babe even...dont you just love it when a plan comes together?

last night we went to the Guava Lamp to shoot some pool and hang out a little...good choice because we went rather early so there was little if any smoke...maybe we should begin a grrl convergence EP Party...I left the Aprilissue on their magazine stand...

a day later than i hoped, but miracle of all miracles, we have another issue out the door...not delivered yet, of course, but printed and ready to go...we will be bringing some by Meteor this evening and i will deliver the bulk of the rest tomorrow...then i will post here at at the homepage where it can be found this month...

yesterday i arranged advertising for the april and may issue which will basically cover production costs...very exciting...and it was basically sight unseen simply because it is a lesbian publication, which is in itself sort of gratifying...confirmation that we are on the right track...all of the april content is ready for the babe of an art director to do her thing, and hopefully i will be printing on monday...inhale...2...3...4...hold...2...3...4...exhale...2...3...4...

I have faith renewed in the lesbian community...not that it was really lacking, but today, basically sight unseen, i secured advertising for the back page for the April and May issues...that means i can concern myself with other things and not have to worry immediately in my current jobless state about the cost of production...Emerald Pillows, is real...

the EP website is finally up and running, woohoooooooooooooo...our art director is such a babe...content for april has come together quite nicely in the last couple of days, just as i knew it would...nearly everything is done with the minor exception of 2 things i am finishing up today and a few phone calls i need to make to confirm some details...i even just tweaked the blog here just a little...i think the next step for blog tweaking will be figuring out how to get the template just a little more EP looking...

I got the new moonscopes from Lilly, and also a call from the Doc...she has her piece done, but is a bit technologically challenged so i will be going to pick it up at her office later today...i just realized that this means i will be typing it in rather than cutting and pasting...not too big a deal at all, and if i actually catch her in the office, maybe we will see about emailing the file...

i also need to call House of Coleman today for follow up info on the dance and then whip up a feature...i will see what the doc is featuring this month and go from there i think...

also got an email of support asking about sponsoring part of an issue so we will see where that goes...

one more week til our deadline...

i have been such a slacker...there is much to do, and less than 2 weeks to do it all...i am, however, very calm surrounding this all...just not too plussed about it...this weekend there is a family wedding for us to attend, so that kills the entire weekend for grinding out some EP stuff, but i knnow that somehow it will all be coming together...

Well i tidied up the files for the March issue last night, which sort of motivated me to get to work on April...I nned to write a splash about the GMCH and the KSRD, the latter of which is started...i also need to write a tease for the glbt writer's conferencewhich is happening in May...maybe something about the art car experience and then i need to do some surfing to find more calendar events...sigh...

also i will write up the single olumpics after the event, and i hope that the doc and lilly are still on board and getting their end together...it's all good...

And on, and on into infinity. I really need to make myself a time budget sort of calendar to get everything organized for the monthly production of Emerald Pillows. I need to write a review, decide on a feature, and just otherwise organize stuff. Also, I need to decide on a fall-back health issue should there be miscommunication with the doc, as well as check in with Lilly about our new moon scopes fpr April. Maybe having this blog will serve as an ongoing to-do list of reminders...and maybe not...
